Its 3.5" size and Serial ATA III interface allow it to be integrated into standard storage bays, with a transfer rate of 6 Gbit/s and a 256 MB buffer that speed up data access. It spins at 7200 RPM and offers an average latency of 4.16 ms, as well as a mean time between failures of 2500000 h. It features 24/7 operation, so you can keep it running uninterrupted. As for power consumption, it operates at 5 / 12 V and registers 10 W when reading, 6.3 W when writing and 5 W on standby.
