Description
The QNAP QSW-M408-4C managed switch is a white L2 layer device that combines 8 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports and 4 combo SFP ports, allowing copper and fibre links to be integrated into the same installation. It includes 10G support to expand bandwidth when the network requires it. With full duplex, auto-negotiation and flow control supported, it manages traffic efficiently in switched networks. Its management is carried out via the web and it offers QoS quality of service to prioritise critical applications. It supports VLAN, including Port-based VLAN and Private VLAN functions, as well as the spanning tree protocol. The RJ-45 console port facilitates advanced configuration tasks. It recognises Cat5, Cat5e and Cat6 cabling, with 10BASE-T, 10GBASE-T, 1000BASE-LX, 1000BASE-SX and 1000BASE-T technologies. Its dimensions are 290 x 42.5 x 127 mm and its weight is 1.15 kg.
