Description
NANO CABLE's fibre optic nanocable is a yellow simplex single-mode patch lead, 120 m in length, designed for the laying of installations requiring a single transmission strand. Its two ends terminate in male SC connectors with APC polishing, a combination aimed at keeping reflection low at the joint. The fibre used is G.657.A2 type, with a core diameter of 9 µm and a cladding diameter of 125 µm, on a cable with a 3 mm outer diameter. The jacket is made from halogen-free material, making it suitable for indoor conduits. As for optical performance, the 120 m cable has an insertion loss of 0.3 dB and a return loss of 50 dB. It also has a RoHS certificate of conformity. This fibre optic cable is suitable for single-mode links where low attenuation is sought.
