Description
The Lindy 70460 AV signal transmitter, in black and red and white, sends audio and video over Cat5 network cable up to a maximum distance of 100 m. It features a 2xRCA connector for the audio and video signal and an RJ45 connector for the network connection that carries that signal. The quantity supplied is 2 units, so you can set up the sending and receiving points of the link. By using Cat5 cable as the transmission medium, it takes advantage of the structured cabling you already have installed to carry the signal from one room to another without running specific audio and video cables. It is useful when the source and the playback equipment are in separate rooms within the same building and you need to cover that distance with a single network patch lead. The set integrates into installations where the aim is to distribute the AV signal in an orderly way between two points.
