The HPE Networking Instant On 1G SFP RJ45 100m Cat5e transceiver converts an SFP slot into a copper RJ-45 port to integrate wired devices into your fibre network. It reaches a data transfer rate of up to 1000 Mbit/s, with a maximum transmission distance of 100 metres over Cat5e cabling. It is manufactured with an SFP form factor and compact dimensions of 13 mm high, 13 mm wide and 71 mm deep, with a weight of 45.4 g. These measurements adapt perfectly to switches of the Instant On series, allowing simple and straightforward port expansion. The RJ-45 interface facilitates connection to hubs and other network equipment that do not have SFP ports.
