HP Q8922A photo paper in a roll 30.5 m long with a 5.08 cm core diameter, with a media weight of 235 g/m² and a thickness of 232 µm. It has a satin gloss level (60°) higher than 20 according to ASTM D-523, with a print gloss of 90% in accordance with TAPPI T-452 and ISO 2470 and a whiteness of 90 according to ISO 11476. Its opacity reaches 96%, which favours sharp reproduction in double-sided prints. The print drying time is 5 minutes at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity. For storage it should be kept between 18 and 30 °C and with a relative humidity of 35 to 55%, while in operation it accepts 15 to 30 °C and 30 to 80% humidity. Its shelf life in storage is 2 years.
