Description
The GEMBIRD DB9 receptacle is an internal part designed to integrate a serial port into your computer's bracket. Its host interface is serial, so you can connect devices with that type of connector without resorting to external adapters. It also features a VGA output interface, allowing the signal to be routed to a compatible screen or projector. As an internal component, it is mounted inside the casing and takes up no space on the outside of the chassis. Its dimensions of 85 x 25 x 120 mm (width x height x depth) make it suitable for installations where space is tight. The assembly weighs only 30 g, so it barely adds any load to the computer where you mount it. It is a practical solution for expanding the connectivity of a computer with a serial port integrated into the bracket itself.
