Description
The EWENT EC1514 SATA cable is a 0.5 m SATA III data cable, in black and red and weighing 17 g. It features two SATA 7-pin connectors, both female and straight type, one at each end, allowing compatible storage devices using this standard to be linked. Its AWG 26 gauge is suitable for internal equipment cabling, where space is limited and a manageable conductor cross-section is preferable. The 0.5 m length offers sufficient margin to connect the motherboard to a nearby drive without excess cable. As a SATA III cable, it is designed to link hard drives, SSDs and optical drives that use this interface. The straight connectors facilitate connection in narrow spaces and allow the cable to be removed with a direct movement. The assembly weighs only 17 g, so it adds no appreciable load to the equipment nor strains the ports with its weight.
