Description
The EQUIP HDMI gender changer cable in black allows you to invert the connection between a male and a female connector, so you can adapt an HDMI cable to a socket of the opposite sex without changing the run. Its two connectors are HDMI, one male and one female, and the contacts are gold-plated to promote signal continuity. The housing is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a common material in this type of adapter, and the assembly is RoHS certified for compliance. Measuring 70 x 11 x 21 mm (width x height x depth) and weighing 12 g, it barely adds any bulk when connected to a cable or a port. This adapter is useful in installations where you need to extend an existing HDMI cable or convert the device output into an input for another cable run. Place it on the end of the corresponding HDMI cable and connect the device to the opposite side to complete the link.
