Description
The ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Hero is an ATX motherboard with LGA 1851 (Socket V1) socket for Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors, Intel Z890 chipset and DDR5-SDRAM memory support, in black. It will support memory modules up to 8800 MHz and no ECC compatibility. It offers wired connectivity with 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and 5 Gigabit Ethernet, as well as Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4. On its rear panel it has 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, 4 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. For storage it has M.2 and SATA III interface, supports HDD and SSD and is RAID compatible. Its sound chip is Realtek ALC4082 with 7.1 output channels, and it incorporates one PCI Express x1 (Gen 4.x) slot and two internal USB 2.0 connectors. The BIOS is UEFI AMI type and its width measurements are 305 mm.
