Description
The LevelOne FVT-2401 is a black media converter that connects copper Ethernet networks with single-mode fibre, reaching transfer distances of up to 40 kilometres. This unit operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm and offers a maximum speed of 100 Mbit/s, compatible with the IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3x standards. It features one RJ-45 port and one SC fibre connector, with support for full or half duplex and flow control. It includes link loss return and pass-through functions, as well as LED indicators for activity, link and power, with a DC input for its power supply. It is a practical solution for extending your network using single-mode fibre with cable diameters of 8.3/125, 9/125 or 10/125 µm.
