Converts 10GBase-T copper signals to 10GBASE-X SFP+ fibre optic with this media converter from StarTech.com, an external black metal unit supporting network speeds of 100, 1000, 2500, 5000 and 10000 Mbit/s. With support for full duplex, auto-negotiation, auto MDI/MDI-X and flow control, this model works with both multimode and single-mode fibre, and accepts jumbo frames of up to 16K. Its Plug and Play design simplifies installation, while the link and power LED indicators inform you of the connection status. It complies with IEEE 802.3 standards, and its metal casing ensures durability in demanding network environments.
