Description
The TP-Link TL-SG1008MP is an unmanaged black switch with eight Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) ports and RJ-45 connectors, designed to expand the home or office network with a wired connection. It offers a switching capacity of 16 Gbit/s and a MAC address table of 4000 entries, with store and forward to manage traffic. It incorporates auto-negotiation, Auto MDI/MDI-X, full duplex, half duplex and flow control functions, as well as auto-learning and auto-aging of MAC addresses. It is compatible with the IEEE 802.1p, 802.3, 802.3ab, 802.3af, 802.3at, 802.3u and 802.3x standards, and supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T copper cabling on Cat3, Cat4, Cat5 and Cat5e cables. It powers devices over Ethernet thanks to PoE support, which simplifies the installation of access points or cameras. Its dimensions are 294 x 44 x 180 mm (width x height x depth) and it can be mounted in a 1U rack.
