StarTech.com Cisco-compatible SFP+ module designed for multimode fibre links in 10 Gigabit networks. It reaches a maximum data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s over multimode fibre and covers distances of up to 300 m, with a wavelength of 850 nm and LC fibre optic connector. It complies with the IEEE 802.3ae standard and 10GBASE ethernet cabling fibre technology, with full duplex system. Its housing is made of silver-coloured aluminium and the module measures 13.9 x 13 x 58.4 mm, with a weight of 19 g. It incorporates Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) and supports hot-swap, with a power consumption of 1.3 W and a mean time between failures of 1967709 h. It is SR transceiver type with SFP+ interface.
