Description
The 3 m black StarTech.com network cable is a Cat5e patch cable with male RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed to link equipment in Fast Ethernet installations. Its 10/100Base-T(X) cabling technology achieves a data transfer speed of 100 Mbit/s and operates at a frequency of 350 MHz. The connector contacts are gold-plated, which helps maintain a stable signal on every connection. The conductor is copper and the jacket is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), with U/UTP (UTP) shielding and 24 AWG gauge. It features a protective sleeve on the connectors and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself. Being Plug and Play, you just plug it in to start working, with no additional configuration. All of this in a 3 m cable weighing 109 g, easy to carry and to place between sockets and equipment.
