Description
Connect your network devices with the StarTech.com Cat6 Ethernet cable, a black patch cord with 5 m of cable designed for stable Gigabit Ethernet links. Its two male RJ-45 connectors feature gold-plated contacts and a strain relief boot, which helps maintain the integrity of each contact during frequent connections and disconnections. The 24 AWG stranded conductor and U/UTP shielding work at a frequency of 650 MHz and support 10/100/1000Base-T(X) technology up to 1000 Mbit/s. It also supports Power over Ethernet, so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket protects the cable in daily use, and its plug-and-play design allows it to be put into operation instantly. Weighing 205 g, it is a practical choice for computers, switches and network equipment.
