Description
Connect two network devices with the StarTech.com Cat6 Gigabit network cable, a green patch cord with 0.5 m cable designed for short links between equipment. Its construction uses 24-gauge stranded copper conductors and a CMG-rated PVC jacket, suitable for wall installations. The 650 MHz frequency and 10/100/1000Base-T(X) wiring technology allow it to work with Gigabit Ethernet over male RJ-45 connectors at both ends. The U/UTP shielding reduces interference over runs of that length, while the connector's protective boot protects the tabs during assembly. As it is a Plug and Play cable, you just need to plug it in to start using the connection. Its weight of 26 g makes it a lightweight, easy-to-handle piece in racks and workbenches.
