Description
Connect an RS232 DB9 serial port device to a computer via USB with the StarTech.com adapter cable, a practical solution for equipment that no longer includes this type of connection. The male DB-9 connector joins the male USB 2.0 A connector through a 0.9 m cable, with overall dimensions of 35 x 15 x 914 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 56 g. Its Prolific PL2303HXD chipset manages the signal conversion and enables a transmission speed of up to 921.6 Kbit/s. The plastic housing, in blue and transparent, protects the internal circuit and makes it easy to carry in everyday use. It is certified in accordance with CE and FCC, as well as complying with the RoHS directive. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 °C and a storage temperature range of -20 to 80 °C, with a relative humidity of between 0 and 65 %.
