Description
Connect your equipment to a display with the StarTech.com USB Type-C to HDMI video adapter, an active solution that converts the USB C port signal into a standard Type-A HDMI output. The USB Type-C connector and the Type-A HDMI are both male and straight format, so they plug in directly without the need for intermediate parts. Take advantage of DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode with HBR3 to carry high-resolution video, compatible with HDMI version 2.0b and with HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 encryption. It includes HDR10 support, which allows content to be played back with high dynamic range and a broader range of lights and shadows. Audio is not left behind either, as it supports 7.1 channels to accompany the image with surround sound. Its RTD2172U chipset handles the conversion reliably for everyday use. The cable measures 1 m and its finish combines black and silver, with a weight of 41 g that makes it comfortable to carry.
