Description
NETGEAR APM408F-10000S network switch module, designed to expand the connectivity of switches compatible with Netgear M4300. It incorporates eight SFP+ modules installed and eight fibre channel ports, so you can link several devices over fibre optic from a single unit. Its interface type is 10 Gigabit Ethernet, with Ethernet LAN connection and data transfer rate of 1000 and 10000 Mbit/s, which allows combining one gigabit and ten gigabit links according to the needs of each segment. The fibre optic connector is SFP+, the usual standard in installations of this type, and the bandwidth reaches 10 Gbit/s, a figure that marks the performance ceiling of the module. All of this in a compact format, with a weight of 300 g, easy to integrate into the switch chassis without adding appreciable load.
