Description
The EQUIP 0.5 m black network cable connects bandwidth-demanding equipment in Cat8.1 installations. Its S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and 24/7 AWG stranded copper conductor protect the signal against interference over short rack or desk runs. It reaches a frequency of 2000 MHz and a data transfer rate of 40000 Mbit/s, making it suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 40 Gigabit Ethernet, as well as Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet. The two male connectors are straight, which facilitates connection on panels and switches. It supports Power over Ethernet with PoE+ and PoE++ (4PPoE) support, so it can power devices such as cameras or access points without additional electrical cabling. It complies with the IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.5 network standards and its shape is round. The cable measures 0.5 m and weighs 51 g, with dimensions of 8 x 500 x 8 mm.
