Description
The D-Link DWL-8720AP wireless access point, in white, offers a maximum data transfer rate of 1300 Mbit/s. It features simultaneous connectivity on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with speeds of up to 400 Mbit/s and 867 Mbit/s respectively, over a frequency range of 2.4 to 5.85 GHz. It is compatible with the IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11n and IEEE 802.3af network standards, and includes an Ethernet LAN port with transfer speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s. It supports WPA3 as a security algorithm, as well as optimisation features such as band steering, QoS, Wi-Fi Multimedia, airtime fairness (ATF) and fast roaming. It can be managed via a command-line interface (CLI). With dimensions of 160 x 460 x 79.5 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 1.38 kg, it is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE).
