The D-Link DWA-171 network adapter connects your equipment to dual-band wireless networks, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, via its USB host interface. With a single available USB port, this WLAN adapter reaches a maximum data transfer speed of 433 Mbit/s and is compatible with the IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11n standards, as well as the Wi-Fi 5 standard. It offers support for the WPA, WPA2 and WPS security algorithms, as well as a WLAN speed of 300 and 430 Mbit/s depending on the band used. Its black colour design and compact format, with dimensions of 31.7 x 8 x 18.8 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 3.9 g, makes it a discreet piece to take with you. It incorporates LED indicators and receives power through the USB port itself, so it does not need an external source. It is certified in accordance with FCC B, IC and Wi-Fi, which vouches for its compatibility with home and office networks.
