Description
The ATEN HDMI/USB Extender over Cat 5 acts as a transmitter and receiver of AV signals to carry image and data over distance. Its black colour and metal construction give it a sober and resistant appearance, with a weight of 495 g. It works with 1080i and 1080p video modes, reaches a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and supports 3D content. Connection is wired, with one HDMI input and one HDMI output, and uses Cat5e cable for signal transmission. It includes HDCP support and EDID management, as well as protection against electrostatic discharges of up to 15 kV. Its bandwidth of 225 MHz accompanies the sending of video and audio. It has USB type A and USB type B connectors, as well as a direct current input plug.
