The ATEN USB 2.0 Cat 5 Extender is a transmitter and receiver set that allows USB devices to be extended up to 50 m from the equipment via cable connection with Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6 cables. Its local transmitter offers a USB port for keyboard or mouse and an RJ-45 socket, while the receiver repeats the USB connection and has another RJ-45 socket to complete the link. The built-in hub adds five USB 2.0 ports, so you can connect several peripherals at the remote end without relying on additional adapters. The LED indicators show the operating status.
