Description
The ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Hero BTF motherboard, in black, is designed to mount Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors on the LGA 1851 socket (Socket V1). It features four dual-channel DIMM slots compatible with unbuffered, non-ECC DDR5-SDRAM memory, with a maximum capacity of 256 GB. For storage it supports HDD and SSD drives via M.2 and SATA III interfaces, supports RAID at levels 0, 1, 5 and 10, and allows up to four HDDs and ten storage drives in total to be connected. Its ATX form factor fits conventional desktop cases and the whole setup relies on the Intel Z890 chipset to manage the system's peripherals and connectivity. This BTF variant concentrates the main connections on the rear side, which simplifies assembly and leaves the interior tidier. It is a suitable base for building a high-performance system with fast storage and ample memory capacity.
