Description
The ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Apex motherboard, in black, is designed for builds with AMD processors on the AM5 socket. It is compatible with the AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series, so you can shape a high-performance system without giving up recent generations from the manufacturer. It has two DIMM slots for unbuffered DDR5-SDRAM memory, with support for both ECC and non-ECC modules and a maximum capacity of 128 GB. Dual-channel operation helps to squeeze the memory bandwidth in demanding workloads. As for storage, it supports up to 9 drives between hard drives and SSDs, with 4 HDDs and compatibility with M.2 and SATA III interfaces. It also includes RAID support at levels 0, 1, 5 and 10, which allows you to configure arrays depending on whether you prioritise speed or redundancy.
