Description
The ASUS PIKE II 3108-8i-16PD/2G RAID controller is installed in servers via a PCI Express x2 host interface with PCI Express 3.0 input version. It integrates the LSI SAS 3108 chipset and offers a data transfer rate of 12 Gbit/s for connected storage. It is compatible with SAS, SATA, Serial ATA II and Serial ATA III disks, which allows the configuration to be adapted to different available drives. It has two internal mini-SAS ports to link the server's disks. It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, covering from performance configurations to schemes with fault tolerance and dual parity. Its dimensions are 152.4 mm wide and 50.8 mm high, a format designed to fit inside the server chassis.
